Kforce has a client in downtown Denver going through an SAP implementation and is currently looking for some additional operational accounting help. Candidates must have Oil & Gas accounting experience.

Staff Accountant Job Duties:

  • Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.

  • Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.

  • Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.

  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.

  • Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.

  • Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.

  • Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

  • Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.

Description

The Enrollment Agent I (EA I) supports Enrollment Solutions Operations through participation in commercial, state, and/or federal programs. The employee performs electronic fingerprinting functions according to the commercial, state, or federal customers program requirements. This position is a trainee role and the incumbent will be introduced to various processes, taught how to operate various fingerprinting machinery, and trained to navigate through specialized computer software databases.

Essential Job Functions (includes but is not limited to):

  • Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with fingerprinting equipment, including computer hardware and software
  • Obtain successful customer fingerprint images and capture biometric information to meet or exceed program standards
  • Verify customer identity and scan required documents into database system
  • Successfully complete required biometric and data capture processes and paperwork on each customer
  • Adhere to all company and departmental employment policies regarding security and confidentiality
  • Perform administrative duties such as time keeping, shift schedules, daily activity reports, card inventory, equipment inventory, and requisitioning supplies
  • When you are not processing new enrollments, you will be asked to answer customer service calls in the office and schedule appointments.

Note: In addition to the Essential Functions, also performs similar work-related duties as assigned.

Commission Analyst at Englewood

The Commission Analyst will be responsible for calculating commissions on a weekly basis for indirect sales channels; coordinating with regional sales organizations and internal sales support to maintain correct rep to territory alignment for the commission tracking. This includes understanding all variations of commission plans and tracking changes. Will support the various tracking systems and ensure systems reflect all commission changes; problem solving as needed to resolve questions on invoice assignments and commissions payments. Create reports through various software tools to support the commission process. Strong Microsoft Excel skill required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commission Calculation/Payroll Reporting:

  Develops and regularly produces commission status reports for individual sales representatives and appropriate aggregated reports for the various levels of sales management.
  Administers all activities necessary to calculate commissions weekly and provide reports to external sales channel for accurate and efficient weekly payroll processing.
  Provides support to external sales channel to address questions and concerns regarding commission payments.
  Maintains and enhances commission databases and works within Excel; develops complex formulas for the commission calculations.
  Analyzes sales and commission data, as requested.
  Analyzes commission and incentive expense variances and ensures sales management is constantly informed of material variances, real or anticipated. 
  Analyzes commission payouts and quota/target achievements to identify issues and provides explanations to payout trends and accrual variances. 
  Resolves and communicates any issues with sales management.
  Administers and implements sales incentive plan design and process.
  Coordinates with Human Resources to track employee status change paperwork and agreements (i.e. new hires, transfers, salary adjustments, FMLA, or termination agreements).

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:
  Education:  BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  Experience:  1+ years of sales compensation experience including analysis and evaluation, and experience with calculation concepts and processing

Skills and Knowledge:
  Requires strong analytical skills including advanced MS Excel formula building including IF statements, v-lookups, and pivot tables
o  Knowledge of PowerPivot is a plus but not required
  Fundamental problem-solving skills
  Proficiency with analyzing and interpreting data
