SITE DESCRIPTION:

The Information Systems Technology team continues to expand in order to meet the needs of our integration with the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System (SCLHS). There are opportunities for healthcare IT professionals in all disciplines (Epic applications, training, testing, interface, security and others) to be a part of this tremendous growth opportunity.

UNIT DESCRIPTION:

All positions are located at our Golden Hill facility location. Some travel to surrounding hospitals will be necessary to gather requirements and provide support, May travel to out of state hospitals to gather requirements for system implementation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is responsible for oversight, planning, and control EPIC environments (Production and copies of production), while at the same time, meeting all EPIC environment conditions required to maintain effective productivity of eSummit production support and implementation teams Functions as a liaison between Systems Team and Application teams. Focused areas are Cache administration, Microsoft Administration, and Unix Administration in dealing with problem resolution, development and design, upgrade promotion to environments, and sun setting of old environments. Liaison will also include problem resolution with Portal teams, network teams, desktop teams, and the LAN admin team.

In additiona to list requirements, this position requires a broad experience in IT and an ability to grasp complicated technical concepts and communicate them to non-technical clients/customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree computer related major or two year degree and/or equivalent experience in application implementation and support. Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in technical support or development experience including implementations, support, troubleshooting, upgrades, system configurations, databases, and exposure to project management. Extensive experience with multiple Healthcare applications, computer languages, databases, operating systems, and hardware platforms Comprehensive documentation and technical writing skills including support documentation, trouble shooting guides, OLAs, project documentation, flow diagrams, application specifications, and functional requirements. Strong team player with good oral and written communication skills including knowledge transfers, conflict management, issue escalation, expectation management, and translation of business needs into technical requirements

Clinical Research Associate II (Telecommute/ Contract)

The Clinical Research Associate II(CRA II) performs routine site visits to ensure that the rights and well-being of human subjects are protected; the reported trial data are accurate, complete, and verifiable from source documents; and that the conduct of the trial is in accordance with the currently approved protocol/amendment(s), SOPs, GCP/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
  • Perform routine site visits, including pre-study, initiation, interim, and closeout visits. Performs responsibilities with minimal support from management. Visits to include monitoring of proper informed consent procedures, compliance with protocol, GCP/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements, and assurance of good site performance. This is accomplished by detailed review of subject records, essential documents, investigational product disposition and accountability, site personnel and procedures.
  • Manage assigned sites by regular contacts to ensure site compliance, adequate enrollment, and understanding of study requirements.
  • Report to OptumInsight project team, client, and site personnel any findings noted at monitoring visits. This is accomplished by completion of monitoring reports and follow-up letters within the project-specific timelines. Significant issues noted must be reported to appropriate personnel immediately.
  • Maintain eClinical or alternative project tracking system of subject and site information.
  • Participate in company-required training programs.
  • Perform necessary administrative functions (e.g., tracking of expense reports, time and attendance).
  • Maintain home office (e.g., procurement of office supplies, submission of documents).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelors level degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing or RN required
  • Two to five years clinical monitoring experience
