Manager of Networking Practice

Job Description:
The Practice Lead for the Networking practice leads the delivery efforts of a group of engineers focused on network technologies which includes; routing, switching, wireless, network management and other enterprise technologies. This person is expected to play a dual-role in the practice, as both a manager and a contributing team member on billable customer engagements. This leader must have extraordinary customer service focus and an emphasis on exemplary quality of execution from a delivery perspective. The multi-facted nature of this position requires an individual that can think and act dynamically and work well under pressure.
- Management of the Professional Services Networking practice
- Technical delivery tasks
- RFP and SOW/LOE review and approval
- Presales engineering support
- Customer escalations
- Financial review
- Utilization review and forecasting
- Supervises/manages/directs the selection, training, development, appraisal and work assignments of personnel
- Develop, communicate and manage to Corporate/Departmental/Team level goals and objectives.
- Develop organizational structure and determine resource needs for a department/team.
- Approve salary increases.
- Manage approximately 7 direct reports
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Strong personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.

Required:
- Minimum of 1 year management experience
- At least 5 years working in the technology/VAR/services industry
- Must be able to travel overnight up to 50% of the time
- Must have CCNP level knowledge of Cisco networking, switching, security, and WLAN product suite (UCS, Nexus, 6500s, R&S, ACE, QoS, etc.)
- Citrix NetScaler experience
- Must be able to work at least standard business hours, M-F, 8am - 5pm
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds for more than 2/3 of a work day
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands up to 1/3 of a work day
- Must be able to sit up to 2/3 of a work day
Education/level of Degrees
- Bachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Clearance:
- Must be eligible to obtain a us government security clearance.

Inside Sales Representative
Job Description:
The Inside Sales Rep's (ISR) responsibility will be to independently drive the overall sales revenue in a defined market while increasing Brocade's strategic value for specific products and solutions. The ideal profile for this candidate is an individual who has at least 1 to 3 years of inside and outside sales experience in the high tech market place (IT). This individual should have a strong history of a proven track record of consistent sales success in developing business and managing sales opportunities to closure. Success is defined by developing new sales opportunities within a "green" field territory as well as maintaining longer term account/ territory management. Additionally some experience and background of working closely with channel partners to develop a Brocade differentiated position is a plus.
Qualifications/Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
* Primary function is an office-based inside account manager mapped to a defined territory
* 10% travel to the field for customer and partner presentations
* Independently own a territory and quota. Includes prospecting, respond to customer inquiries, provide pricing quotes, track and manage customer opportunities
* Work with Regional Sales and engineering teams to create accurate sales strategy. This will include effective use of corporate resources to manage and forecast business
* Prepare materials for external presentations on products, business plans and communications
* Manage a pipeline of business
* Develop and qualify new lead opportunities to drive increase revenue opportunity in specific target geographies and or vertical markets
* Develop a contact database (SFDC) and help identify and document new opportunities utilizing existing data bases, upgrade cycles, acquired lists, and service/support renewals
* Work with Brocade Channel Partners to close business for the assigned territory
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 1 - 3 years work experience in related fields of sales, customer service
* Comfortable with technical and business English usage (documents reading, e-mails, conference calls)
* Must be a self-starter, aggressive, competitive, proactive, motivated, organized, and responsible with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
* Great relationship skills, tenacity, resilience and inter-personal/presentation skills
* Ability to quickly learn detailed information about products & services and clearly and effectively articulate Brocades value
* Must have professional and confident phone/email skills.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities using effective organization and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Good sense of humor desired
* Ability to work towards common goals in a group sales environment
