Job Description

CTG is seeking a Color / Image Science Engineer for a permanent opportunity with our client in Boulder, CO. Software engineers on this team participate in all phases of the development process, from design, to implementation, to post-release support. As a member of this team, you will work alongside industry experts, many of whom have extensive patent invention portfolios. The work is challenging, creative, fast paced and intellectually stimulating.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of work experience with 4+ programming in C
• Familiarity with image processing, and color science concepts
• Ability to create and maintain automated unit test suites
• Ability to design and deploy shared libraries to serve a variety of applications
• Experience with multithreading concepts and programming techniques
• Strong algorithm design and math skills
• Software development experience working in Linux OS environment
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of software engineering best practices, including design patterns and UML
• Excellent leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent technical writing and English communication skills
• Teaming, self-management, and multitasking skills

Preferred Skills:

• C++ and OO software design
• Working knowledge of software engineering best practices, including design patterns and UML

Education / Certifications:
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
