Atkins is seeking a Digital Media Director to coordinate and deliver all electronic marketing and communications activities to support Atkins business and brand in North America. This position will operate out of the Denver, CO office. In this position, your ability to develop digital marketing communications strategies that support the business objectives of the region based on an understanding of the industry(ies) and communications media will be key.

Your work will involve developing strategies to promote the Atkins brand via social media and web;may involve other assignments to support marketing and communications. The position requires knowledge of marketing, advertising, and public relations principles; region policies and procedures; and knowledge of the consulting engineering industry. An understanding of specific technologies and/or processes related to production of communications materials is also required.

This position requires innovative strategizing with sales and business line staff to promote the Atkins brand, products and services through thought leadership. Typical responsibilities of this position are to raise the profile of Atkins brand by the use of but not limited to social media, internal and external blogs, message boards, Twitter, and LinkedIn, for example. Candidates need to have strong project management skills and experience directing others.

Job Requirements

The appropriately qualified candidate will have the following core competencies and required experience:

Bachelors or masters degree in marketing, communications, media or a relevant area of study. Minimum of 15 years of applicable experience in digital media positions or related with progressive levels of responsibility.

Experience in the A/E/C industry required.

You must be a collaborative leader, work well in a team environment, be deadline-driven in a high energy, fluid, deadline-driven environment.
