Job Classification: Direct Hire Our client is seeking an ETL Datawarehouse developer to join their fast-growing organization. This role requires excellent ETL and Informatica skills and in-depth Data Warehouse knowledge. The successful candidate will be charged with the design, development, implementation, and support tasks associated with building and maintaining our Data Warehouse. You will be using new technologies such as SQL Server 2014, Cognos, etc.This job also requires strong oral and written communication, relationship management and conflict resolution skills. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and resourceful team-player who can comfortably work with our distributed technology team. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for developing programming code to extract data for multiple sources and convert data into a data warehouse environment. -Write new program code, maintain existing code using prescribed specifications.-Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.-Confer with Cognos developers to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. - Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. - Adheres to standard for development, testing, code promotion and security.-Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.-Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource.-May require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.-Other duties as assigned.Required skills and experience-2+ years of work experience with Informatica required-2+ years of Data Warehouse Development experience required-2 + years of SQL Server development experience preferred-Experience with fast-paced, time-constrained development teams. -BS in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred Join TEKsystems and get your career on the fast track.
