Senior Accountant/Analyst job in Denver, CO. 

 

Our client, a multibillion dollar organization that has been in business for well over 50 years, is looking for a Senior Accountant/Analyst.  This company is one of the largest and most well respected organizations in their industry in the country and only employs individuals with excellent backgrounds and expertise in their field.  The organization is experiencing extensive organic growth as well as growth through acquisitions to expand not only their market share, but also their core competencies.  This position is a hybrid of accounting and financial analysis so the company is primarily seeking individuals with a solid combination of accounting and financial analysis experience from public accounting, a REIT, or an investment fund.  

 

Qualified candidates for the position will have a hybrid of experience with accounting and financial analysis from public accounting, a REIT, or an investment fund. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  Review quarterly and annual property financial statements in data collection system including mapping of the chart of accounts.  

  Prepare and review property operating reports which include:  

  Quarterly Property Performance Review Report  

  Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) Calculations  

  Income and Expense Forecasting and Modeling  

  Budget Analysis 

  Provide accounting and informational support to Asset Managers and outside property management companies.  

  Assist in analysis of property cash flow deficits and preparation of operating deficit package for Credit Committee Approval.  

  Review partnership agreements and prepare property level cash flow to determine cash flow splits.  

  Analyze Partnership financial benchmarks required for capital contribution installments under the Partnership Agreement.  

  Conduct review of Annual Property Financial Statement Audits.  Collect and validate property financial data and Partnership Agreement terms with internal database system.  

  Develop and prepare operating reports defined by senior management to monitor the operations of the portfolio.  

  Conduct internal audits of General Partner and/or Property Management Agents which address identified operating risks.  

  Assist in the transition of books and records to new management agents for workout properties.  

  Assist in special projects, as needed.
