Service Associate at Centennial

Job Description

OppenheimerFunds, a leading mutual fund and financial services company, has a limited number of full-time positions available for Service Associates in Centennial, Colorado. We are seeking professional, self-motivated individuals to provide excellent service for our shareholders and broker/dealers. Successful candidates will have phone and customer service experience, high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

College experience welcome! Series 6 license training is provided to qualified candidates. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great team and take your career to the next level.

Position responsibilities may include the following:

  • Provide mutual fund account services to investors and broker/dealers by answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Determine appropriate action necessary to fulfill customer requests by investigating the needs of the customer and broker, and effectively communicating with other departments on our customers behalf.
  • While meeting your individual performance standard, contribute to and enhance the teams performance by sharing information with colleagues, offering alternatives to common problems, formulate and submit ideas to supervisors, and contribute to a harmonious and professional work environment.


Competencies for success:

  • Series 6 or 7 license. Training provided for qualified candidates.
  • Spanish beneficial.
  • High School degree or equivalent. Some college strongly preferred.
  • Successful candidates will complete a required training course and pass the series 6 exam.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills including professional telephone etiquette in order to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated PC skills, in a windows based environment in order to learn our internal account system, effectively use our internal databases and complete the required training program.
  • SAs must be available to work during center hours, as late as 6:00 pm
