Job Description Summary:
The Production Coordinator assists the VP of Advertising with specification and implementation of all production projects; must be self-motivating, detail-oriented, accurate and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Catalog: Coordinates catalog page production from layout to final approval. This includes:
- Converts merchandising layouts and emails files to creative team.
- Supports VP during photography sessions and throughout the photo approval process; may include organizing files accurately on photo web storage site.
- Prints pdf layouts from creative team for approval by VP.
- Prints routing sheets and page spreads to assemble routing packets.
- Proofs and routes catalog page spreads to team members until approved.
- Monitors change memos to assure all pages are accurate.
- Tracks progress of page spreads in Excel to meet all deadlines without exception.
- Communicates with creative team as necessary during production process.
- Organizes final color proofs for approval by VP.
- Distributes CHEFS catalog samples to various departments and maintains
sample files.
- Print Advertising: Assists VP as needed with production and scheduling of space ads in newspaper and other publications, including retail store advertising and warehouse sales. Maintains sample books of all company print advertising.
- Broadcast Advertising: Assists VP as needed with production and scheduling of radio and television advertising.
- Pioneer Woman: Monitors The Pioneer Woman web site daily to find CHEFS prize giveaways and then coordinates with customer service and PW to fulfill prizes.
- Other: Supports VP with other tasks as assigned regarding project scheduling, production, proofing, budget and travel arrangements.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years print production experience required.
- Strong language skills for proofing.
- Good oral and written communication skills. (Continued on next page)

- Ability to work well with all levels of internal organization team members and external partners.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Standard office environment; approx. 5% standing, 20% walking and 75% sitting.
- Majority of tasks are computer-related.
