GL Accountant at Englewood

Our client is seeking a GL Accountant in Englewood, CO.

Duties:

• Perform monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis, and reconciling items for all areas of the general ledger including cash, prepaid assets, fixed assets and accrued expenses



• Monitor and record all cash transactions and prepare cash management reports to assist with the Treasury function



• Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports



• Responsible for fixed asset accounting, record asset purchases, transfers, disposals and depreciation expense



• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and other internal policies and procedures in all areas of responsibility

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree, Accounting


• 2-4 years experience in accounting/audit


• Strong experience in US GAAP


• CPA a plus


• Oil & Gas Industry experience is a plus
