AT&T Director Network Operations - New Distribution

This Director will be responsible ensuring ongoing network operations for a mobile voice, messaging and data network. They will be accountable for defining service and performance KPIs, as well as designing ways to measure for ongoing validation. They must be intimately familiar with existing metrics that define an optimal mobile voice, messaging and data experience across 3G and LTE networks. They need to understand existing probes, tools and OA&M systems used by AT&T. Beyond defining and monitoring service and performance across the mobile network, they will be accountable for driving resolution to any service or customer impacting outages. Furthermore, they will be accountable for monitoring and maintaining capacity planning and forecasts for all network elements.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications Required:
- 8 years of wireless carrier network experience in Mobile Network Operations and/or Network Engineering functions in a supervisory role.
- Expert understanding of mobile voice, messaging and data services and devices and what KPIs are critical for optimal customer experience.
- Expert understanding and experience in network monitoring tools and systems.
- Experience capacity planning and forecasting.
- Expert understanding of 3GPP standards and protocols.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot service impacting issues in a time critical manner and drive to resolution.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to effectively manage escalations and identify appropriate communications across multiple organizations (network, marketing, care, product, etc)
- Able to think out of the box.
- Strong customer focus and ability to drive to an effortless customer experience.
- Teaming and interpersonal skills to support communication with technical peers/superiors, cross functional peers/superiors, and executives.
- Effective communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineer minimum. Masters level preferred.
- Expert in MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio.
