Transportation Operations/Dispatch Supervisor

Johns Manville is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Transportation Operations/Dispatch Supervisor located in Littleton, CO. The primary purpose of the position is to oversee the daily activities in the Load Control Center (LCC) to ensure that they have all the necessary tools to be successful as well as address any concerns with the LCC or customer service. This includes:
Trains all new LCCs as well as assist with system issues on a daily basis.
Completes daily capacity log and reports to the business units.
Completes monthly reports for cost savings.
Completes monthly reports that include but may not be limited to load builder utilization and savings.
Works as a liaison between customer service in communication service/carrier issues.
Back up coverage for vacations and sick calls.
Works with the LCC to ensure maximum number of loads are covered on a daily basis.
When needed, helps with rate templates.
Works with carriers to improve service and ensure the LCC has accurate data to make proper carrier selections.
Coordinates coverage for all absences.
Coordinate SmartWay carrier utilization, analysis and reporting.
