CATERING OPERATIONS MANAGER at Denver

Service Systems Associates is seeking a motivated event professional who wants to be part of a growing fast paced organization. Must have the ability to work in all weather conditions.

General Purpose: This position is responsible for receiving all catering event orders and planning the execution of all events and set up requests. You will manage a crew of up to 30 people and are responsible for the scheduling, discipline and mentoring of all staff. Must have the ability to communicate with on-site client and coordinate last minute needs.

Essential Duties

Creative and in the know of current trends

Familiar with basic food and beverage knowledge

Practices Safe Serving

Understands the importance of Client Relations

Hiring, Mentoring and Discipline of all hourly Catering Staff

Ability to review menu and place liquor and paper goods order or any specialty items

Designs and executes plan for event including sales details

Oversees success of event from start to finish

Coordinates Equipments and set up needs with Chef and BOH team

Job Requirements

1-2 years Operational Event Experience

Experience with managing people

Able to control Cost of Goods

Superior Time management skills

Ability to delegate and multi-task

Basic knowledge or Delphi or Caterease Systems

Excellent written and verbal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Programs
