ABOUT THE JOB
Handles a wide variety of complex and confidential situations and resolves conflicts involving the clerical and administrative function of the office. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports.Calls on one or more lower level secretaries for assistance on a per project basis.
Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills required to work cohesively with all levels in the organization.
Essential to stay organized and to manage time and workspace managing calendar, tracking meetings and activities and scheduling conferences and business travel. Also must prepare and organize reports, letters, presentations and other documents.
Proven ability to work with a wide variety of office equipment, from computers to photocopiers to fax machines. Also be able to work with software for word processing (MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook) desktop publishing, database management and spreadsheets
Able to use excellent judgment, or at time possess the ability to make sound decisions without supervision. Must be able to anticipate or recognize problems and refer them immediately to the right person for resolution. Also need to understand logic, reasoning, mathematical methods and statistics to determine the strengths and weaknesses of solutions to problems. Must be able to find common threads among unrelated events to draw conclusions about potential issues.
Incumbent will be part of a team that includes executives and other employees. Must establish and maintain working relationships with all corporate levels and with clients. Collaborate with their executives and work to form and accomplish mutual goals.
Perform other duties as may be required.
Education, Experience, Qualifications:
Requires a minimum associates degree or its equivalent with at least 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
