Satellite Operator

Location: Denver Metro Area

Duration: 12+ months

Security Clearance: TS/SCI

This Satellite Operator position is a continuous rotating shift. The successful candidate will provide technical capability in the area of Telemetry, Tracking and Commanding (TT&C). Analyze and optimize the system software and test for appropriate commanding, tracking and telemetry monitoring capability. Command and execute promoted tasking schedules and monitor all ground status as required.

Implement failover capability and anomaly response as required. Report system status to the crew commander and provide technical recommendations for system issues and anomaly response. Work across internal and external organizations to ensure appropriate information is available for execution of payload/satellite operations. Utilize various software tools to ensure comprehensive system availability and operations. Analyze system upgrades to show appropriate dependencies, risks, and impacts. Ensure system upgrades are integrated to meet operational and configuration requirements.
