Job Description
As a Director of Nursing you will plan, implement and administer programs and services in a health care or medical facility, including personnel administration, training, and coordination of healthcare staff.
Additional responsibilities of the Director of Nursing include:
Conducting and administering fiscal operations, including accounting, planning budgets, and authorizing expenditures.
Directing, supervising and evaluating work activities of healthcare personnel
Reviewing and analyzing facility activities and data to aid planning and to improve service utilization.
Directing or conducting recruitment, hiring and training of personnel.
Job Requirements
To qualify for the Director of Nursing, you must have effective communication skills and be able to work with individuals of all ages and be able to lead a team of healthcare professionals.
Additional requirements of the Director of Nursing include:
Current active and valid Licensure or certification.
Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize with good interpersonal skills.
CPR Certification or ability to achieve upon employment.
Basic Computer Skills.
