The La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores in the San Francisco Bay Area are looking for SALES SUPERSTARS! 

With the residential market on the rise furniture sales are soaring with more homes that need to be filled!  We are looking for someone who is a seasoned sales professional.  The sales industry you were in doesnt matter as much as your natural sales ability.  The characteristics we are looking for in applicants are:

*  SALES INCLINATION - you have to like selling.  Its commission retail sales and people who are gifted in sales excel in our environment.  If you love to sell, youll like this position, its a high-reward proposition.

*  DESIGN AFFINITY - you dont have to be a designer by any means, but if you dont like home furnishings and fashion, you wont like the job. This is consultative, fashion-oriented salesmanship!

*  HARD WORKING  -  Its retail.  If youre more comfortable in a corporate environment, this will most likely not be a great fit.  Retail is tough, but the right work ethic can produce a great living at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries as you get what you put in.

Job Requirements

• High school graduate required
• Ability to work various shifts as required including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
• Prior retail sales experience preferred, however will train the right person
• Ability to work in a “pay for performance" culture
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Basic computer skills required
• Interior Design experience is a plus 
• Experience in using floor and space planning applications is a plus
• Knowledgeable of general principles of home décor, design and sales
