Road Driver Full-time Over-the-Road at Denver

Job Description

Qualifications:

• Minimum 25 years of age.
• Have 2 years of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Candidates with less than 2 years experience may be eligible for training).
• Have a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Have a good stable work record.
• Have a safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
• Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.

Equipment

• Road Tractors average less than 18 months in age
• Fully air-conditioned equipment
• Tractors equipped with power steering
• Preventive Maintenance Program for all ABF equipment

Benefits

• Wages - Full-scale wage is $20.70/hour and will increase to $24.25 during the life of the contract (04/01/13). Over-the-road mileage rate is .52025 and will increase to .6090 over the life of the contract (04/01/13). (New hires progress to top rate within 3 years)
