Job Description

General Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

The .NET Developer analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies medium to complex software enhancement features and/or new software products. This includes making appropriate decisions regarding architectural changes and providing input to refactorings across products. The .NET Developer is able to work with other team members to solve problems and debug difficult issues using a broad knowledge of technologies and product familiarity. The .NET Developer is a team player and is able to participate technical meetings and code reviews. This position will be developing applications for the Swiftpage product line.

• Debug and fix software including medium to complex issues using a broad knowledge of technologies
• Design and develop new features as requested by the Product Owner
• Participate in project teams to create quality working software
• Provide input to code reviews and technical meetings
• Contribute to project planning and estimates
• Provide input regarding refactoring
• Protect company proprietary and confidential information
• Experience with hosted environments a plus.
• Be a team member as part of an Agile Scrum team 

Job Requirements

Experience Required:

• 3-5 years of software development experience in an enterprise C# and .NET Agile Scrum environment. 
• 2+ years developing Web Services/REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with cloud base application development is a plus.
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio/Team Foundation Server
• Experience in SQL required. Experience in hosted environments is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Able to work independently as well as being a team player 
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
• Debugging and performance tuning
• Bachelors/Masters degree preferred in Computer Science (or related field)
