We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the design of complex mechanical, opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies for new product development and ongoing product support. Responsibilities will include design of new products, developing and executing test plans, and support of existing products.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Opto-Mechanical Engineering
- Eight years of hands on mechanical engineering design and development
- Proficient with SolidWorks
- Experience with injection molded plastic design
- Experience with sheet metal and machined parts
- Experience with electronics packaging design
- Experience with material and finish selection
- Experience in tolerance analysis
- Experience with tooling and fixture design
- Thermaland fluid flow analysis experience is desired.
- Optic design experience desired
