Key Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring resident care staffs job performance
* Conducting associate performance evaluations, and coaching/counseling associates
* Monitoring staff in administration of medication
* Observing residents health status, taking actions to address concerns, and reporting all significant changes
* Communicating to families regarding residents personal needs and achievements. Reminds families of need for scheduled physician, dental, or eye appointments.
* Assisting in organizing and developing service plan reviews
* Observing residents, recording significant reactions, and notifying appropriate parties of residents condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents
* Responding promptly to all emergency calls from residents
* Performing daily, weekly and monthly safety and infection control checks of the home and grounds

Job Requirements

We seek the following qualifications:
* Must have current Practical Nursing Licensure in thestate ofCO
*Three (3) or moreyears of experience
* Assisted Living and or Dementia Care experience is preferred
* Supervisory experience in senior living or similar setting is preferred
* Must have experience with coordinating care staff schedules, maintaining resident medical records, and providing direct care
* Must be proficient with computers and software to include Excel and Microsoft Office
* Must have excellent communication skills
* Must be organized, possess problem solving skills, and be able to multi task
* Must have flexibiltiy with schedule and be able to share on call responsibility
* Must enjoy working with the senior population and have a passion for working with residents, families, and professionals
