Job Description
Responsible for accelerating business growth through managing various sales initiatives and programs to ensure optimum delivery in accordance with the overall strategy.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and manage sales program(s) strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the organization.
Lead cross-functional core team to develop and enhance the programs offers, processes and systems.
Impact the profitability of the company through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions generate the desired new business results.
Work with sales leadership to provide consult and direction to ensure successful tactical execution of strategic programs.
Establish expectations and disciplines for the Sales Channel that are consistent with the goals and objectives of the specific Sales Programs.
Analyze performance of revenue driving initiatives and translate it into actionable growth opportunities.
Proactively identify and follow new opportunities by analyzing business needs and conducting market intelligence activities.
Communicate to ensure that the Channels are aware of all sales programs and special events to leverage them for optimized sales growth.
Ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising and promotional planning through the Marketing department.
Establishes and leads project teams, defines project objectives and scope through detailed planning.
Identifies project dependencies, assesses potential project risks, develops risk management plan and develops and manages the project schedule.
Provides a clear plan for implementation that optimizes resource utilization, time required for completion and assures internal clients operations needs are being met.
Ensures programs remain on schedule and meet budget plans, and team members are focused on the most critical aspects.
Perform other projects as required.
Job Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. At least 5 years of progressive experience in sales operations, product management, product development, marketing, product marketing or some combination thereof. A minimum of 3 years of telecommunications experience, including strong understanding of solution applications background. Proven ability to excel in a fast growth, dynamic and growth oriented organization. Proven ability to develop product strategy, execute product level business plans, and drive product development from initial idea through launch. Strong oral and written communications skills.PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Able to balance long term direction with need for immediate impact and results
Formal channel and product marketing background, using formal process to build sales programs and plans, manage multiple channel segments and product marketing metrics, and drive business growth objectives across a broad organization.
Strong program management and organizational skills.
Experience with Salesforce.com
Solid presentation skills, with ability to promote programs to sales professionals and customers.
Ability to manage a team of direct reports as well as virtual team members from other organizations including channel management, product management, marketing communications, and sales
