Job Classification: Contract As an ASIC/FPGA engineer, you will work as part of a team to implement all phases of development, from concept through to production. You will be given the opportunity to work all aspects and can choose to focus on specific areas, or broaden your skill set. Were hiring employees and contractors. - System and Chip Architecture - Digital ASIC and FPGA RTL Design - Digital ASIC and FPGA Verification using OOP and/or SystemVerilog.- Develop verification strategies, plans, test benches, and models to functionally verify chips from 100K to 100M+ gates as well as SOC and system level designs. - Physical Implementation- Engineer new methods and drive state of the art verification. - Opportunity to be project technical leadBS or better in EE, CS or CE - 2+ years of digital IC Design and verification experience- Strong verification test planning skills- Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issues- Proven ability to drive, learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies- Strong scripting (Perl/TCL) and programming skills (Verilog or VHDL, and SystemVerilog).- Experience working with verification tools such as OVM, VMM, UVM- Proven track record of designing, implementing and debugging ASIC/FPGA verification to achieve code and functional coverage closure - Prefer experience having developed a constrained-random, object oriented, functional/metric driven test plan/methodology - Thorough knowledge of ASIC design processes (design, verification, implementation, layout) and flows - Digital Design using RTL (VHDL and/or Verilog) a plus
