Full Cycle A/P Specialist at Englewood

Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Full Cycle A/P Specialist for one of our Denver area clients. The Full Cycle A/P Specialist completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices following GAAP guidelines and corporate policies and procedures in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Enter invoices into database accurately and timely.

Reconcile processed work by verifying and comparing system reports and balances.

Effectively communicate and manage relationships with internal and external customers.

Research and resolve vendor disputes in a professional manner.

Reconcile monthly vendor statements.

Utilizes the internal document imaging system to route workflow for payment approvals to appropriate parties

Review invoice discrepancies.

Provide monthly accruals for expenses incurred in accordance with GAAP standards.

Maintain electronic vendor files and ensure that information is easily retrievable.

Assist as necessary in annual audit process.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma required, some college preferred

Must have at least 2 years Accounts Payable experience in a fast paced environment

Must have experience in a large accounting software system, ie: Lawson, Oracle, etc.

Advanced Excel skills are necessary

Strong customer service skills are necessary
