Innovate. Lead. Inspire. Sodexo is seeking a talented and innovative Food Production Manager 1 of Food Service for our corporate services account in Englewood, CO area.
This Food Service Manager 1 will oversee the full services caf and catering events, as well as oversee the day to day scheduling and technical delivery of catering events. Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-3 years of exp in a food service or production management role
• Experience delivering quality food during catering events
• Experience with Food Safety Policies & knowledgeable of Sodexo programs.
• Experience training and leading catering staff
• Exceptional communication skills, professional and customer services oriented
• Experience with financial reporting such as payroll, labor and food cost and more.
• Knowledgeable of MS Office programs/Familiar with Sodexo programs
• Culinary degree is a plus

Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators. Plans and costs menus.

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
