.The Superior Group has partnered with one of our long-term clients to hire a National Sales Manager for their Denver, CO based operations.Our client is a 30 year leader in the high value asset tracking industry. From their capability in quick-turn manufacturing of high tolerance color coded, alpha-numeric, barcode labels to developing their own advanced wireless radio -frequency identification (RFID) software and solutions, our client has advanced its organization to a high growth technologically focused operation. It is comprised of highly talented software developers, sales, project and product managers, who are deep into their disciplines, who work smart and are passionate about bringing their product to market. With strong internal processes to develop new product features, an ethic of customer responsiveness and a wide network of dealers and resellers, the organization is gaining ground in its goal to be a leader in the wireless track and trace markets. If you strive to deliver excellence, exceed expectations, execute flawlessly and to lead an organizations sales and marketing efforts in order to make a difference in the market, then were for you.We are looking for a National Sales Manager who has an established network of customer and channels in our targeted space, a proven track record of closing sales, has demonstrated successful campaigns, guided the advancement of product performance, and reached out to new channel and customer relationships, all with the purpose exceeding targets - both theirs and their team. They understand how to sell value, and not price by conveying the full value proposition. This individual needs to be self-motivated, experienced, clever, and a demanding manager that can run a cohesive, competitive and healthy sales and marketing organization that blows by even their own expectations. You will need to lead by example, to be unyielding in your standards of performance yet supportive of your team and enable them to reach and exceed their own view of their potential. You also are required to make judgments as to organizational fit and to make adjustments when faced with lagging performers.The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy sales & marketing strategist, who understands all forms of networking and demand creation and can effectively oversee the planning and program execution of traditional and digital marketing programs, SEO, and social media where appropriate.You are expected to lead this team with an enthusiasm and energy that will have yourself and them exceed weekly activity requirements, build substantial pipelines and execute on multi-channel campaigns. In order to be successful, you will be self-sufficient and a team player, aggressive yet gracious, quietly competitive and a vocal cheerleader.If you enjoy being in front of customers rather than in the office, can put up with traveling four days a week on average, and can bring in at least eight new customer meetings per week, then this is the position for you.Responsibilities
  • Effectively build and execute a sales & marketing plan for you and your team to achieve revenue targets
  • Develop and utilize clear value propositions and its products
  • Create sales opportunities by diligently prospecting into target accounts
  • Aggressively engage with leads via telephone, email and social media to educate and drive leads through the pipeline
  • Set up on site meetings and execute presentations, solution demos and meetings with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Achieve quarterly and yearly quotas in closed business by successfully converting leads
  • Efficiently enlist support from the team where needed to keep opportunities moving
  • Clearly document sales pipeline including sales forecasts, prospect details, current engagements and future planned activities
  • Expand business from existing customers while working new channels and relationship to uncover new customers
  • Show other product and sales managers how they can better their capability to generate demand through social media, cold calling, and recurring call campaigns to build a pipeline of business.
  • Determine the most appropriate mix of marketing programs to target existing and new prospects in key segments and verticals (i.e., webinars, SEM/SEO, PPC, PR, trade shows, education seminars, blog and email)
  • Drive competitive market strategies and build campaigns to support aggressive pipeline growth Develop clear, compelling content for email, SEM, and other online campaigns
  • Define goals and metrics for all demand generation programs
  • Track, measure, and analyze both individual and campaign performance on an on-going basis, their lead quality, conversion rations and ROI.

    Job Requirements

    .Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years of direct experience selling within multi-channel B2B environments (specifically within a high-tech software company)
  • 3 years experience managing sales individuals
  • 3 years experience assisting in the development of SEO/SEM, social media, email, and content demand generation programs that supported sales efforts(program creation, execution, and measurement)
  • 3 years experience with marketing automation, CRM and analytics tools
  • 3 years experience utilizing social and traditional networking
  • NOTE - This position requires upwards of 50% US Domestic Travel. Candidates must be willing to spend multiple days/week on the road at client sites as well as a percentage of time in the Denver, CO office as required.
