Summary:
To educate, advise, and assist students to ensure the accurate completion of all applicable grant, loan, and scholarship applications. To provide assistance to all applicants in the understanding and interpretation of applicable federal, state and institutional requirements while maintaining a high level of customer service and accuracy.
Job Functions:
Advise prospective students of all tuition funding sources available to students attending Concorde Career Colleges. Assist students with questions regarding the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Master Promissory Note (MPN) for federal Stafford loans, Perkins applications, alternative loan applications, and all required federal and Concorde Career College forms. Review NSLDS for status of student loans and grants. Conduct entrance and exit interviews and administer appropriate loan testing as required by Title IV regulations and Concorde Career Colleges. Accurately and timely prepare award letters for students and review financial aid package with student. Know and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations and procedures. Perform other duties related to student financial aid packaging efforts as assigned. Meet and exceed all applicable company goals to include, but not limited to, packaging standards. Qualification:
Bachelors degree preferred, but not required. Must be computer literate with entry level knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of Campus Vue operation system preferred. Must be detail oriented and be a quick learner of complex processes. Must work well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent customer service skills.
