Hospital also operates clinics in Olathe and Naturita, Colorado. Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is managed by Quorum Health Resources. Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) – OR Nurse / Healthcare
Job Responsibilities
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse you are responsible for assessing, planning and implementing the necessary health care for patients before, during and after surgery.
Additional responsibilities of the position include:
- Creating and maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment for the patient and monitoring the patient’s physical and emotional well-being throughout the surgical care continuum
- Monitoring patients for changes in status and indications of conditions such as sepsis or shock and institute appropriate interventions
- Setting up and monitor medical equipment and devices such as cardiac monitors, mechanical ventilators and alarms, oxygen delivery devices, transducers, and pressure lines
- Administering medications intravenously, by injection, orally, through gastric tubes, or by other methods
- Evaluating patients vital signs and laboratory data to determine healthcare intervention needs

Job Requirements
To qualify for the Operating Room Registered Nurse you must have previous experience as a registered nurse with experience working with healthcare patients in an operating room environment.
Additional requirements of the position include:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in state of requested employment
- 1 year experience in nursing as a registered nurse or equivalent healthcare experience
