Job Description
Corporate office of a claims servicing organization for casualty insurance has an opening for a Document Processing/Quality Control Manager to provide quality control and operational assistance to field offices nationwide. Responsibilities include the management of a team in:- Preparing quotes, proposals, settlement documents, and case system data to comply with rules and procedures, and reviewing same information to assure quality standards are met
- Answering field questions and concerns
- Maintaining departmental documents
- Preparing timely and accurate client reports
- Performing monthly closing activities
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates will possess the following:- Four-year college degree in business or related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in managing a team that focuses on complex regulatory/administrative/quality assurance areas with the ability to quickly learn, comprehend and apply complex legal/regulatory life company, client, and financial business rules to a multiplicity of legal proposals and documents
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- High level math ability, problem solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maturity and professionalism, and a combination of directive/persuasive leadership skills to assure business results are achieved
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent computer aptitude, with intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Word and Excel, as well as data base input/inquiry
- Ability to evaluate processes and respond to changing conditions
- Ability to work with diverse individuals, while guiding the department in field support and service
