Sales Executive - Mountain Living at Denver


We have an outstanding opportunity for a sales professional to work with a leading Colorado luxury magazine brand Mountain Living. We are looking for energetic, hard charging, goal oriented candidates. Interested in the convergence of design, luxury print, traditional online and social media and want to get ahead of the traditional media community helping local companies grow? This position includes the following responsibilities:


  • Generate sales for Mountain Living magazine: retain current advertisers, actively seek new business and develop assigned territories.

  • Sell Mountain Living product mix to include magazine print, sponsorship, on-line and Digital Sherpa.

  • Develop and implement customized marketing programs based on client strategy and goals.

  • Provide high level of customer service to current accounts and prospects

  • Build a successful pipeline of a minimum of 800 active prospects through: A) A minimum of 20 prospects/client phone calls per day or 100 calls/week (minimum). B) PLUS 10 face to face business appointments each week (2 with Publisher). C) Industry affiliations, networking and referrals. D) Prospecting through competitive magazines. E) Internet search engines and association/industry web sit  Requirements
    • At least 1 year experience with a successful sales track record
    • Positive attitude, team work, creativity, innovation and professionalism are a must
    • Problem solving skills based on the principles of our business
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced work environment
    • A fundamental understanding of marketing principles and how to apply them in a print, online and Social Media setting.
    • College Degree in related field
