(www.dcppartners.com) The Web Content Administrator position manages the written, visual, and audio content of a website coupled with administrative support and development. The primary objective of the role is to provide advice to business areas on content development and responsibility for managing, creating and/or acquiring, and publishing content for websites, and other online communications media such as podcasts, social media, collaboration sites for DCP Midstreams internal and external web and portal properties. A thorough knowledge of content strategy and best practice standards is essential to ensure consistency across all online services and any content supporting web strategy objectives. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Provides advice and develops appropriate content and materials to support the strategic direction of the DCP Web and Portal environments. Tracks trends, statistics, and contributes to the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy Liaison duties: o Point of contact with the content hosting for 3rd-party embedded content presented in the web and portal environments o Collaboration with Company partners for the hosting and technical support of DCP Web and Portal environments o Collaboration with Corporate Communications department for administration and design of social media presence o Primary point of contact with business departments requesting the development and deployment of content in the web and portal environments o Collaboration with Information Technology architecture group to define technology roadmap for Web and Portal technologies Manages the development and implementation of Web and Portal content policy, procedures and standards Contributes to the architecture and design of content, websites, and portal sites , with a particular focus on content goals and user needs Contributes to the process of information design, to ensure that content is appropriately structured to meet the goals for the site and the needs of users Coordinates and manages the creation and acquisition of content required to meet requests Prepares and publishes textual content for websites (including feature articles, advertising copy, database content, links, FAQs, etc.) in collaboration with Corporate Communications and other internal business units Application Support contact for issues on web and portal environments Develop and maintain an application governance for web and portal environments Trusted agent to work with confidential communications before they become public Member of crisis communication response team to update the web and portal environments Updates and maintains time-sensitive web content and materials Responsible for quality assurance: writing, editing, & proof reading web content Develop and administer test plans for usability and user acceptance testing Identifies current and future content needs and priorities; develops annual plan and strategy in association with IT and Corporate Communications Envisions and encourages new means of enhancing electronic communications technologies Develop and coordinate training program for content contributors Seeks to ensure copyright approval for the use of any content (existing and new) Collaborates with Legal department to maintain privacy and legal notices for the web and portal Recommends changes to electronic content editorial policy and design Ensure branding of business applications, reports, etc. are aligned with Company standards Research problems to determine the root cause and build corrective plansOther Duties/Responsibilities: Complete administration tasks, such as status reporting and documentation Performs other duties as assigned Scope of Responsibilities1. Ability to develop and implement Best Practices and Standards Experience managing small-scale projects, estimating resource needs, timeframes and planning Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web technologies General marketing experience helpful Strong oral and written communication skills Writing style, grammar, spelling, visual, and content layout skillsEducation or Formal Training Bachelors Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field. Above to be coupled with verifiable experience in Software and Web Development technologies. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or related field with coupled with verifiable experience in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Website Software Development Incumbent requirements: A Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience as a degreed professional OR, an Associates Degree and 8 years of experience and training OR, 12 years of experience and training Ability to operate in both web content administration, web programming, visual design, graphical design, and audio techniques. Experience utilizing social media properly and ethically to advance company exposure, build reputation, and bring employees together. . Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are requiredIncumbent preferences: Energy sector experience Oil and Gas experience Experience with content management systems such as Kentico and Microsoft SharePoint Experience with authoring and visual graphical tools such as WordPress, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe AcrobatJob Requirements
