Financial Services Representative I CC Role:

Provides prompt, accurate, courteous service to members calling in to our ContactCenter. Maintains a friendly, professional attitude while completing financial transactions, answering member questions, and resolving account problems. Educates members about products and services that would be beneficial to them.

Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations governing applicable to the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists members with basic transactions and information and manually enters data and transactions into computer system in a timely and accurate manner.

Demonstrates strong communication skills with members, other departments, peers, and management.

Enhances member value by presenting and offering financial solutions to members.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Maintains member confidentiality on all credit union accounts.

Expectations:

1. To maintain regular and punctual attendance at the desk, ready for calls 3 minutes before opening time.

2. To continually answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.

3. To meet or exceed assigned average daily ACD availability.

4. To process member transactions with zero errors.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience.

Education: Equivalent to a high school education.

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with others that can be of a confidential nature. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. An ability to foster positive working relationships with people inside and outside the organization is essential.

Other Skills: Data entry on keyboard i.e., computer, calculator, telephone, typewriter. Visual ability to interpret data from CRT screen or written documents. Understanding and carrying out written and verbal directions. Communicating clearly and concisely in verbal and written form. Physical ability to maintain continuous hours of sitting at work unit answering a high volume of incoming calls.
