Responsibilities of audit/assurance/accounting professional include planning, performing, and monitoring audit and accounting efforts.

 

In specific:

 

• Developing accounting and auditing strategies to more effectively handle client issues
• Developing and maintaining strong client relations
• Planning and reviewing audits, and providing consulting to clients on accounting and other financially related matters
• Supervising, training and evaluating staff and encourage a team approach
• Reviewing internal controls and making recommendations for improvements
• Maintaining a knowledge of business developments and technical accounting requirements that may affects on clients

Job Requirements

Particular requirements include:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Master’s in Accounting a plus
• CPA required

•  5+ years recent audit/assurance experience in a high quality CPA firm
• Big 4, National, Regional experience highly preferred
• Strong technical and regulatory experience Some prior exposure to clients in the financial services area a plus
• Ability to manage multiple engagements
• Outstanding leadership, communication and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of computer systems particularly MS Office and accounting and audit software
• Team Player
