One of the worlds largest data storage companies is seeking a several SSD VLSI Design Engineers to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with developing the latest technology in a rapidly evolving market. As members of the SSD ASIC Development team, you will be responsible for the micro-architecture, design and debug of leading-edge Solid State Drive (SSD) controllers. This target application is at the forefront and convergence of new technology development and presents a dynamic and broad opportunity. This individual will work closely with the ASIC verification and physical design teams to develop designs to meet aggressive program requirements. Successful candidates will have strong teamwork qualities as well as communication and interpersonal skills to be effective in a cross-functional virtual team environment. Preferred Qualifications:Masters degree in degree in Computer or Electrical.Engineering with 5-7 years VLSI development.Ability to be flexible, self-motivated and manage change.Experience working with cross functional teams in a fast paced environment.Communication skills (verbal and written).Experience with design and/or verification of SSD Controller IP.Experience with modern verification methodologies, specifically the VMM1.2 or UVM methodology.Experience with Object-Oriented Programming, including C/C++.
