Liberty Distribution is a national distributor of candy, snacks and other impulse items to retailers who traditionally do not offer food products. We are currently seeking a National Account Manager, located in Denver, CO or the surrounding area, with CPG retail sales experience to join our team.The National Account Manager is responsible for evaluating and managing new initiatives and business opportunities at various special market (non-food) retailers. S/he will be a leader in the expansion of the company?s market share and service reputation. Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs. Sells and manages key initiatives using fact based selling and Category Management Best Practices. Will travel extensively and work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the company and potential clients.Competitive compensation package including base salary and bonus potential. ?Bachelors Degree and 3 years CPG retail sales experience; or equivalent education/experience. Snack Confection and/or experience selling to non-food retailers a plus.Proven ability in Category Management. Including demonstrated and proven ability to perform Profit/Category analysis utilizing Category Management tools; suggest plan-grams based on analysisProven ability to manage and improve Customer P&LMust have a high degree of forecasting accuracy based on accounts? past and future businessCapable of working with national retailersAble to develop product presentationsProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and WordProactive self-starter able to work independently and manage multiple tasks, adjusting priorities as necessaryStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to travel and work a flexible schedule based on the needs of potential clients; and be available evenings and weekends as necessaryCountry: USA, State: Colorado, City: Denver, Company: Performance Food Group.
