Position Responsibilities:

Support Verizon Enterprise Solutions Global Operations group with third party vendor management. Responsibilities include: tracking/validating savings claims, vendor contract/proposal review and analysis, assessment of P&L/deal impacts, and providing feedback and making recommendations to finance, business and sourcing leadership. Assists with online shopping carts for purchase order creation and tracking.

Required Skills & Experience:

•Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, related field or equivalent experience

•3 plus years of financial analysis experience

•One or more years of vendor cost and control experience

•Working knowledge of General Ledgers, Basic Knowledge of FASB requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

•In‐depth understanding of report query and design

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel

•Strong written and oral communications skills

Desired Skills & Experience:

•CPA, CMA, CFA preferred

•Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry preferred

•Broad knowledge of Verizon finance and accounting systems and applications

•SAP, SRM and Hyperion Essabase experience
