RapiscanSystemsis seeking a hands-on R&D Engineerto workin our Longmont, Colorado location.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

1) Support existing firmware as well as develop firmware for new products 50%

2) Support software development in C/C++ - 50%

3) Provide product requirements and design documentation

4) Participate in full product development cycle

5) 20% - 30% Foreign travel required

Job Requirements

• Experience in C/C++

• Experience in firmware development

• Software development on Linux and Windows platforms

• Experience in testing and test documentation

• Experience drafting requirements documentation

• Ability to understand mathematical algorithms and implement them in firmware.

• Have a valid passportfor internationaltravel

Education:

B.S. in EE, Computer Science or similar + 5 years relevant experience OR

Associates degree and combined 10 years relevant experience

Desired:

Low noise electronics development

Experience working with radiation sensors and radiation sources

Experience with HMI (Human Machine Interface) UI development

Experience with MS project and project server
