In this role, the trainer will keep abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems in specific areas of expertise. This could include some aspects of the design process.This is a clinical training position with emphasis in medical / surgical. The successful candidate will be training nurses and behavioral health specialists and non-clinical coordinators in case management, clinical systems, and utilization management. We have one position in Colorado Springs, CO supporting TRICARE, the military health system. Responsibilities: The Clinical Trainer supports the clinicians and non-clinicians through the development and facilitation of performance-centric trainings, which include process and clinical topicsReviews and keep staff updated on clinical practice guidelines and EBMManage training rosters and course completion administrative responsibilities Keeps abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems and may be involved in the design processJob Requirements
Associate degree or higher in Nursing, Clinical or training field preferredMinimum of 2 years experience using pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertiseMinimum of 1 years experience conducting classroom training and/or seminar/workshop topicsUnited States CitizenshipAbility to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 NAC form SF86Strong work ethic, independence, and dependabilityExcellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple prioritiesEffective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills and drives for results individually and in a team settingPrior experience working effectively in a highly matrix organizationAs a requirement of UnitedHealth Groups contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86http://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_fill/sf86.pdf, (the National Agency Check or "NAC"). Successful completion of the NAC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NAC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received.
