Job Description
Review, design, enhance, create and develop Visual Analytics and SSRS Reports using SQL Server Reporting Services, Report Manager, Report Builder and Tableau software per definition of done and reporting requirements. Job responsibility include to perform full development lifecycle spectrum including to design, prototype, code, integrate, test, debug, deploy, maintain, and document reporting and data structures to support required deliverables. Consult with internal resources to identify current procedures and to clarify objectives. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Review, estimate, design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports using Report Builder, Tableau software against SQL Server and ad hoc reporting data sources, estimate, design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports using BIDS in Visual Studio as assigned.
- Facilitate technology solutions to service delivery to internal and external clients.
- Provide a high level of service to each internal customer emphasizing partnership approach at all times.
- Maintain current knowledge of technology used. (C#, MS Reporting Services, SQL Server, TSQL, Tableau and Web Services.)
- Adhere to and participate in our agile software development methodology and practices. Support team commitments and ensure quality deliverables per definition of done within defined Sprints; perform code reviews, participate in planning sessions, daily stand ups and other agile practices.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or a related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the software development with working knowledge of SSRS and Report Builder.
Specific Licenses and/or Certifications:
- Specialized Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities*:
- Working Knowledge in other areas including SSRS, SSIS, ETL, Microsoft SQL Server and Web Services.
- Must be skilled in relational databases, client-server design and report development.
- Experience with software testing including unit, system, functionality and performance testing.
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging to identify root causes and appropriate solutions.
- Energetic, self-directed, and service-oriented. Capable of maintaining open communication with colleagues, peers and staff. Open to and supportive of the ideas, issues, and needs of others.
Work Environment:
Our Client is a 24/7/365 Call Center. Therefore, this position may be required to be on a rotational on-call roll and work some nights and weekends.
