Electrical Project Engineer - SouthEast DenverMEP consulting firm has an opening for an Electrical Project Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity.
??? Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering bachelors degree
??? Experience (3yrs+) in design of electrical systems for commercial construction
??? Knowledge of NEC and other building codes, as well as LEED/sustainability design requirements
??? Ability and experience performing NEC demand/load calculations, short circuit calculations, lighting calculations, and voltage drop calculations
??? Ability and experience creating one-line diagrams, estimated electrical service size and load calculations, and design narrative for schematic design phase of projects
??? Ability and experience performing complete power design for projects, including code research, device layout, equipment power connections, panel board circuit layout and loading, and mechanical equipment schedules
??? Ability and experience performing complete lighting design for projects, including code research, selection of luminaires and lamps, luminaire layouts, lighting controls and circuiting, and COMcheck
