Job Description

Sales Representative- Outside Sales : Our Client is :

  • Locally owned and operated, founded 1966
  • Service staff has average 15 years+ industry tenure
  • Official Supplier to Denver Broncos
  • Our primary goal is customer service and satisfaction providing excellence in value, ethical practices and superior product offering.


The territory is Downtown Denver and surrounding, includingzipcodes80202/80203 and the Cherry Creek Area. Contains 50+ current client accounts. A ton of opportunity for an experienced Account Manager.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE / JOB KNOWLEDGE / JOB DUTIES

Thoroughly know the configuration, features, advantages and benefits of all products and solutions sold byour clientto a level of ability that would allow for Certification". Take and pass any and all required product tests.

  • Is efficient in key-op training, communicating and demonstrating in a selling situation all products sold by our client.
  • Has a good knowledge of competitive products and programs in order to effectively compete.
  • Know the sales strategies used byOur Client(below) to consistently compete for new business and maintain the current customer base when marketing products and solutions.

Understand the TCC Unique Value Proposition".

Consistently prospect for new business in person, by telephone, and through networking activities.

Consistently send out TCC mailers to C" level contacts within prospective clients.

Be able to analyze the needs of your customers.

Be able to put together a complete document workflow analysis.

Always schedules a next action" while gaining pre-commitment and re-commitment in the sales prosess.

Must articulate the unique advantages of all products and solutions our client has to offer compared to our competitors.

Be competitive and creative with your approach when negotiating or when presented with an objection by the customer.

Know when and how to close in the sales process.

Consistently monitor current customers to ensure continued satisfaction, uncover additional opportunities and to obtain referrals.

Is willing to put in long hours, in non selling time if necessary, to continually upgrade your knowledge of products, sales techniques, and competitive strategies (A Student of the sales profession).

WORK QUALITY / ORDER HANDLING & PROCESSING


  • Turn in all orders promptly, properly completed, error-free, legible and that requires little supervisory checking.

(e.g., TCC/Lease documents, deal packets, credit application, delivery and acceptance)

  • Utilize Compass" data base system to organize prospective and current clients to a level of skill that would enable anyone to seamlessly manage the territory in your absence.
  • Maintain a 30/60/90 day sales forecast submit to Sales Management as required.
  • Work closely with Field Service Technicians, After Market reps, and customer service personnel to achieve the highest quality service and Client Passion".

Job Requirements

PRODUCTIVITY

  • Make appropriate use of resources available (e.g., company provided training and software, vendor provided training, and any applicable outside training).
  • Meet established productivity standards detailed in this job description and in the sales rep benchmarking standards.
  • Return phone and email messages in a timely manner calling into the office a minimum of three times daily.
  • Manage lease opportunity list monthly and Current Customer list a minimum of once every 90 days and details in the Compass database.
  • Answer or direct all customer questions or complaints in a timely manner.
  • Turn in all set-up and delivery requests filled out completely and legibly in a timely manner
  • Achieve machine revenue and unit quota in the assigned territory (machine revenue and unit quotas per month are assigned according to the territories assigned),
  • Prospect all businesses within assigned territory with 6 months and details in the Compass database.
  • Complete 780 Compass Activity points monthly as details in comp plan.
  • Present at least 12 cost analysis proposals per month to prospective customers and details in the Compass database.
  • Complete all non-selling activities before 8:00 AM or after 4:30 PM (mailers, letters, proposal writing, and daily planning..)

  • A self-starter who goes ahead independently without direct guidance while following management directives.
  • Resourcefulness in suggesting new ideas and contributing in company meetings and functions
  • Willingly accept responsibility, including extra assignments and / or overtime work
  • Initiates and communicates product promotions or program enhancements utilizing knowledge gained in the front lines" with assigned clients.
  • Communicates a calendar of all trade show, convention, charitable events

  • Seek appropriate guidance and direction in a timely manner
  • Keep management apprised in a timely manner of potential problems and opportunities
  • Inform company of any unsatisfied customer within your assigned territory. Work with appropriate company personnel to resolve any issues.
  • Inform your manager and the receptionist of your daily schedule. Alert them when you are leaving the office and upon your return to the office.

Compensation for Sales Representative : Downtown Denver Area

  • $30K-$42K Base Salary
  • $300 car allowance, full benefits 1st of month after start date, laptop
  • 25%-35% of GP on all EXISTING business
  • 45%-55% of GP on all NEW business
