Job Summary:This position is responsible for the communication and implementation of employee benefits across the CHI enterprise. In collaboration with the Benefits Team, this position: Develops the communications strategy for employee benefits communications Implements and monitors the work plan Researches and creates content Manages the work of external vendors Collaborates with Information Technology Services and Legal Services to meet technical and legal requirements for employee benefit programsImplements the production process.This position can bebased in Denver, CO or Erlanger, KY.Responsibilities:- Manages the implementation of employee benefits communication needs in collaboration with the CHI Benefits team. Communication needs include, but are not limited to, Healthy Spirit Programs, Annual Enrollment, new benefits programs, benefit plan changes; CHI transactions (M&As and divestitures) and other engagement strategies.
- Ensures that all benefit-related messages support and align with enterprise People strategy messaging and broader communication within Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI).
- Partners with the HR Benefits team to implement and integrate employee-related programs and campaigns that support overall Healthy Spirit Program.
- Implements the content review and approval process This process requires working collaboratively with multiple sources, including external vendors, functional departments, business owners, content approvers and Information Technology Services. Content may include audio, video or animation.
- Analyzes and monitors progress with benefits communication; develops recommendations for improvements.
- Works collaboratively with all communication group members to ensure alignment of benefits related communication. Maintains consistency of policy, features, functions and organization brand
Job Requirements
Education:Bachelors degree in related fields of journalism, marketing, or communicationsExperience:Ability to formulate employee benefit communication strategy that is consistent with enterprise People strategy.5 to 8 years utilizing Sharepoint technology to support or maintain a web site, ideally in the health care industry. Technical and creative writing expertiseExperience working across departments or in matrixed organizations with high levels of collaborationExcellent communication skills including writing and editing, particularly as it relates to web-based writing Strong interpersonal skills, in particular the ability to work tactfully and respectfully with a wide variety of individuals and teams.- Additional Responsibilities:
