GIS Technician Job

GIS Technicians needed to perform edits on gas, electric and landbase facility information within GIS and subsequent software applications. GIS Technicians will have a degree in GIS or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. This is a long term Contract position in Denver,CO. Local candidates only.

Responsibilities for the GIS Technician

• The GIS Technician performs edits on gas, electric and landbase facility information within GIS and subsequent software applications
• Focus on general data integrity and GIS maintenance work in order to improve data accuracy and reliability.
• Provide specialized services and mapping products to internal and external customers

Requirements for the GIS Technician

• Degree in GIS or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Familiarity with ArcGIS desired and must be able to performs edits on gas, electric and landbase facility information
• Prepares detailed drawings and layouts
