Corinthian Colleges is currently seeking Online Academic Deans for our campuses located in Colorado Springs, CO and Tampa, FL.

Job Responsibilities:

  Manage student retention by contacting absent students, leading at-risk meetings and conducting student outreach activities

  Develop departmental goals and measurements to support efficient and effective departmental operations

  Manage recruitment, on-boarding processes, and supervision of Administrative staff,  supporting employee development and utilizing regular performance assessments, feedback, and coaching

  Ensure enforcement of policies and procedures to comply with all regulatory requirements

  Schedule faculty and ensure adequate course offerings to meet student scheduling needs

  Ensure the implementation of programs of study, course descriptions, class schedules, syllabi for each class, and selection / timely acquisition of textbooks and related academic equipment

  Partner with other departments to address problems and concerns related to student satisfaction and retention

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree
• Knowledge of pedagogy, technology, and online learning required
• Work experience in post-secondary education is preferred
• Solid experience managing and motivating others to achieve defined outcomes
• The ability to perform effectively without direct supervision
• Experience using creative and solution-oriented approaches to resolve issues
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate via email, texting, phone
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite of programs, especially Excel and Power Point
