Job Classification: Contract Inside Sales Rep (Boulder)A successful restaurant equipment company is looking for a driven and motivated salespeople to help them grow!OverviewProjecting a warm, inviting and trustworthy telephone image is the key to success in sales. Salespeople that excel at relationship building are often the most successful in growing their business. The sales process starts with regular, proactive sales calls to customers and prospects. Consistent, timely follow-through and active listening are essential to building these relationships. Good sales notes and updating our CRM are also vital to this process. Proficiency in computer operations will make finding information and resources easier.Job DutiesOur primary job is to drive profitable sales growth. We will do this in three ways:Conversion: New Account Business or Acquisition.Penetration: Incremental Business from Existing Accounts.Retention: Repeat Business from Existing Customers.The components of that include:- Meeting or exceeding your monthly sales quota.- Regularly meeting and exceeding the department activity expectations.- Qualifying customers effectively and recording appropriate data in Sales Force.- Demonstrating enthusiasm and capacity for continuous training and development.- Increasing sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.- Contacting customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.- Managing time effectively, meeting personal goals and working effectively with other members of the organization. - Build rapport and relationships with internal and external customers through prompt, courteous, efficient, and professional service.- Following company policies and procedures.- Creating and entering new customer account data.Other duties may include:- Interacting with customer service to effectively manage:o Researcho Order fulfillment.o Entering orders and quotes.o Other issues: returns, damages, short shipments, credits, etc- Handling "Code Red" occurrences.- Assisting with Counter duties.- Visiting customers and/or participating in trade shows.- Performing other duties as assigned.Qualifications Your accountability for your own success will require you to: - Possess a competitive sales drive to meet and exceed monthly goals.- Prior Sales or Industry experience preferred.- Be an effective communicator both orally and in writing.- Have computer experience and be comfortable with evolving technology.- Be self-motivated and fully committed to building a profitable business.- Provide excellent customer service and maintain member retention.- Possess good organizational skills. Education or Formal Training: High school or equivalent, College degree preferred.
