TEKsystems is hiring a Splunk Resource to address the nee to have a central events repository, a Business Activity Monitoring Capability and an Operational Visibility framework. This is being conducted as part of the companies Enhance Program to improve the common Architecture and frameworks leveraged across the product portfolio. The specific objectives of the project is as follows: 1. Establish a common API for submission of Business Event and Application Log messages. 2. Establish common formats for Business Events. 3. Drive Adoption of API and format toApplication Owners. 4. Provide the ability to correlate business events into Business Activities. 5. Provide the ability to establish Service Levels based on Business Activity Trends. 6. Establish visibility into Business/SLA activity through Dashboards, Reporting or Alerting mechanisms. 7. Establish an Environment that can scale to 20 million Events Daily, 50 Million Log Message Daily, 500 Defined Business Activities, and 100 Service Level Monitors. This Resource will be the primary technology implementer and services wonder. This resource will drive the implementation of Splunk. According to business and non-functional requirements provided by the Project wonder. Additional responsibilities include driving the adoption of Splunk: creation/adjustment of dashboareds/alerting and collection of feedback to be included in future enhancements to the project. This person will also be responsible for the standard administration and maintenance of the solution and maintain detailed documentation necessary to turn management over to the company staff at the conclusion of the project.
