SAP FI/CO Principal Analyst at Denver

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Validate the SAP fit to business requirements by identifying workarounds and business process changes, if necessary
• Configure SAP to meet business needs the SAP Finance modules (SAP Finance/Control (FI/CO))
• Provides functional support related to standard costing methodologies, processes and execution
• Analyzes and develops custom queries and reports in support of diagnostic exploration of business or system issues
• Applying highly professional and technical knowledge, work with clients, other ITS groups, and vendors in activities such as identifying options, selection, analyzing, designing, installation, coding, maintenance, and testing of information technology solutions.
• Shares responsibility with team members for 24-hour on-call problem resolution.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelors degree in the area of Computer Science Engineering.

Experience

• 7+ years of Senior Business Anaylst/Programmer Analyst and configuring SAP. Requires in-depth
• Knowledge of SAP Finance/Control (FI/CO), must include experience in the set-up and support of FI/CO.
• Requires technical knowledge of Fi/CO touch-points between SAP functional modules.
• Work history must demonstrate experience in the design, configuration and support of the applicable SAP modules.
• Requires in-depth knowledge of ASAP Methodology.
• Experience with Sales & Distribution (SD) desired.
• Writing functional requirements and associated test cases.
• Experience developing and supporting solutions in support of SOX/JSOX.
• Experience leading small to medium size projects.
