Compensation: $90,000.99 to $110,000.00 per year

Security Engineer- apply direct to Matt Vatter at [Click Here to Email Your Resum]Security Engineer will help design, develop and implement enterprise network security strategies. As a member of the Information Security team, he/she will work with various functional areas (Networking, Windows and Linux Administrators, etc.) to define, document, and implement network security strategies, architectures, and procedures. He/she will monitor and verify that the company is appropriately protected from internal and external threats, while enabling the organization to work effectively and productively. He/she will evaluate the risk vs. the business value to mitigate and make appropriate recommendations for the business. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor firewalls, proxies, security information and event management systems, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners, multi-factor / strong authentication technologies, and logging servers.Provide readiness, support, and remediation for monthly PCI testing, and quarterly certification.Work with the other members of the team to develop, promote, and implement strategies to balance security recommendations with business needs.Define global security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security..Perform security audits of off-the-shelf and custom applications and infrastructure.Stay abreast of industry best practices in risk management techniques and integrate new methods and tools as appropriate.Provide in-depth support for information security incidents including internal violations, hacker attacks, viruses and system outages. Assist with the investigation of security breaches, policy violations, and other security incidents.Monitor vendor and third party security reports/lists and proactively patch vulnerabilities.Provide 7x24 support for security issuesConduct code reviews on web applications, databases and back office applications. Manage and monitor host-based and network-based IDS/IPS.Manage the US physical security access control system.Support the global vision of standardized software, systems and operational security design methodologies. Provide and lead incident response services for company locally and feedback and support Global incident response processesOversee the provision of technical expertise to internal and external Fraud teams. COMPETENCIES Working experience with networking including configuration and troubleshooting. High-level working experience of Sidewinder Firewalls or equivalent Application Firewall. In-depth knowledge of Cisco ASA Experience with IPS & IDS systemsAbility to find solutions to seemingly intractable security problemsExpert technical and security knowledge in several (if not all) specialties such as log analysis, incident response, enterprise vulnerability assessment or remediation and risk management.Proven experience with writing and maintaining security policies in accordance with industry best practices.Security consulting experience is desirableExcellent verbal and written communications skills including presentation facilitation Strong implementation, requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing Excellent analytical skills and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Excellent organization skills including the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment.
