Storage Engineer at Denver

Job Description

• Maintains efficient and reliable backup and, in collaboration with other architecture and engineering teams, analyzes and designs enterprise storage systems, high transaction database processing and storage
• Manages the subsequent implementation, documentation and maintenance of said systems.
• Installs, supports, maintains, and monitors IT Storage Area Network infrastructure for reliability and uptime
• Primary responsibilities will include but is not limited to installation, maintenance and support of enterprise SAN and backup/recovery environment/recovery procedures
• Troubleshoots and supports the organizations storage systems
• Creates and reviews reports on storage usage

Job Requirements

• Experience working with Net App SAN, Vfiler concepts, NFS exports, assigning permissions within netapp, growing and creating volumes
• EMC SAN - VMAX
• SRDF - Symmetrix Remote Data Facility(Data Replication)
