LSCAs analytical instrument service business is also a market leader in the developing multi-vendor service market.The successful candidate will join a team responsible for the success of compliance and multi-vendor services that help customers in our target markets operate their laboratories more efficiently. This position is required to address expanded service coverage on products from the Varian acquisition and additional service business that the acquisition enables.This position will need a broad range of experience for HPLC, and uHPLC systems and the associated compliance protocols. Strong experience with instruments and software from a wide variety of major vendors including Bruker, Waters, Thermo, Dionex and Shimadzu will be a distinct advantage.Specific responsibilities include: Creation of HPLC, and uHPLC compliance protocols and integration into the Agilent Automated Compliance Engine product (ACE). Providing technical leadership and implementation for developing new compliance, maintenance, and repair services for non-Agilent HPLC, and uHPLC instruments as part of the CrossLab Services development efforts. Development of maintenance protocols and repair training for non-Agilent HPLC, and uHPLC systems. Ensuring the quality & robustness of what has been developed and Managing the technical transfer of the services to the on-site delivery team.The geographic work location is Englewood, Colorado.Job Requirements
Minimum job requirements:A Bachelors Degree in a scientific discipline with a minimum of three years relevant experienceAt least three years of experience in the analytical instrument services industry, including equipment support and delivery including repair, maintenance and regulatory compliance servicesA track record of successful service projects that demonstrate strong project management skillsGood problem analysis skills, a high degree of creative ability and initiativeThe ability to exercise independent judgment that has lead teams to effective decisions and efficient executionExcellent verbal and written communication skills including the proven ability to teach engineersA good knowledge of Agilent & non-Agilent analytical instruments, software and services with an emphasis on liquid chromatography & mass spectrometryStrong computer use skills covering the use of the MS-Office Professional suite and other professional engineering tools to enable you clearly document knowledge transfer materialsThe ability to interact successfully directly with customers solving problems and managing expectationsDesired Requirements:A good knowledge of quality processesA working knowledge of instrument service delivery processesA good knowledge of formal project development methodologiesPrevious experience working successfully across organizational boundariesPractical knowledge of GLP/GMP compliance regulationsAgilent is an equal opportunity employerCountry: USA, State: Colorado, City: Englewood, Company: Agilent.
